(If you live in the Tristate Area so-called, come see me May 4, 12–5, at this Creepy Pop-Up Market in the Conti Building, 415 Howe Ave, Shelton, Conn. I’ll do (free) sketches, sign books, weep copiously, the whole nine yards. Details, such as they are, here.)
As you probably already know, I have a new book coming out this summer with boss illustrations by Cathrin Peterslund—Apprentice Academy: Knights. It is formatted exactly like last year’s Apprentice Academy: Sorcerers, except it is about 60X better, because I worked all the kinks out on the first book, and anyway there are a lot more knights, warriors, fighters, paladins, vikings, duelists, etc., in myth and legend than sorcerers, so I had more variety to choose from.
You can preorder the book here or here or here. I think if you order one from each you get a prize? Unclear.
Anyway, I wanted to share a few (somewhat randomly assembled) internal pages to give you an idea of what you would be in for. It is, as I always say, doubly educational because you will not only learn a lot about historical and legendary knights, you will learn how to defeat them by cheating.
I have been assured that the book will be easier to read than these small images.
